Need help with your finances?
Staten Island Advance - June 21, 2004
Are you planning and adequately investing for a
retirement that you may quite possibly exceed in 20 years?
Whether planning to pursue a hobby, travel, take
classes, collect shells on the beach or just watch TV, does your
retirement financial plan allow for inflation, increasing taxes,
increasing health-care costs, home repairs and possible changes in
government benefits?
You can compare your financial planning against the
advice of the guests at a special luncheon and guest presentation to
be hosted by the College of Staten Island (CSI).
Alumni, faculty and community friends are welcome to
attend the event, entitled, “A Comfortable Retirement: Three Hurdles
to Keep in Mind,” Wednesday at noon in the college’s Faculty Club,
the Park Cafe (on the CSI Campus Center, Building 1C.), Willowbrook.
Guest speakers will be Joelle Jensen, an attorney
with Angiuli, Katkin & Gentile; Solomon Chemo, vice president of
investments, Smith Barney, and Ira Weiss, long-term care specialist,
Genworth Financial.
To attend, interested parties should make
reservations by calling the College Advancement Office at (718)
982-2365. Seating will be limited.
