Staten Island Advance - Sunday, October 14, 2007

State Sen. Andrew J. Lanza and College of Staten Island Foundation board member Norma D'Arrigo will be honored by ISOLA at a dinner theater at 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at the College of Staten Island's (CSI) Center for the Arts in Willowbrook. Tickets are $100 per person; call the CSI Advancement Office at 718-982-2365.

"Three Sisters From Queens," a new off-Broadway comedy in the making by playwright Richard Vetere, will be performed as a staged reading.

The event will benefit ISOLA, a program that supports the study of Italian language and culture by high-achieving CSI students.

Andrew Lanza has secured funding for various programs at CSI. Norma D'Arrigo is a CSI Foundation board member and co-founder and president emeritus of Friends of CSI. Both will be honored for their dedication to CSI and promotion of Italian-American culture.

The meal will include authentic Italian food supplied by Carrabba's Italian Grill, New Springville.
